Executive Summary
Background
Yahoo Finance is a media property owned by Verizon Entertainment that delivers financial news, data and commentary including financial reports, stock quotes, press releases and original content.  
Challenge
 The Yahoo Finance site appears cluttered with the amount of different elements that are on the page. It is difficult to tell what content users should care most about as important articles and features are the same size as other content on the page.
Solution
The redesigned Yahoo Finance site allows for a better sitewide experience. It improves content organization and structure, allows for easier site navigation, and gives users a personalized experience where they can view their accounts at a glance and read articles tailored to their interests.

From my research, I learned that users found the site difficult to navigate and thought the overall site layout could be improved. Many users disliked the ads and were disappointed with the tabloid style articles.

I looked at similar news media site such as Bloomberg and CNBC to see how their site content, navigation, and layout was structured.
